Gorgeous deep colour and a bright, generous nose of forest berries, plum, and sweet spice. Medium-weight, soft palate with barely-there tannins and approachable flavours of fruitcake, mint and black olive. Super-easy to drink - a lovely wine.

Drink on its own, with caramelised roast vegetables, or with spicy Cajun chicken.

Santa Gloria is a leading brand from the award-winning Santa Alicia Winery. David González, an inveterate perfectionist with thirty years' experience, is Santa Alicia's chief winemaker producer. Much of the grapes for this wine are sourced from the Maipo region, which surrounds Chile's capital Santiago. The Central Valley region runs for 400km south of Santiago, where plantings are dominated by the well known "international varieties".
