Winemaker, Filippo, clinched a top trophy in Tuscany in 2003, knocking several much more expensive contenders off the podium and his 2004 followed suit with a 'Gran Menzione' at Vin Italy; Italy's most prestigious showcase.
This wee Italian number is utterly dripping in dark cherries with notes of strawberry and earth in support. Rich and juicy in texture it has a nice grip in the tannin and a sexy underlying Italianness
