Limited Edition Writers' Tears Cask Strength 2017 Irish Whiskey.

A rare cask strength of Single Pot Still & Single Malt, strictly limited to only 5,280 bottles, each of which is uniquely numbered and signed by founder Bernard Walsh. Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2017is natural non-chill filtered and was bottled at 53% in August 2017.

Describing this year’s cask strength release of Writers’ Tears, Bernard Walsh said: “This whiskey displays a depth in flavour bursting with complexity and flavour. Elegant notes of dark chocolate and rich blackberries precede subtle summer fruits and sweet barley, while hints of butterscotch and rich toasted wood giving way to a bold and intense finish.
