AUSTRALIA - South Eastern Australia
As Australia enters another year of drought, water supplies are drying up leaving limited amounts of water available for irrigation. Consequently the vines have had to work harder to gain the necessary nutrients they require to thrive. Whilst this reduces the size of the grapes, it is beneficial because it intensifies and concentrates the flavours of the berries and ultimately the taste of the wine.

Tasting Note: Deep and inky in colour this wine displays a nose of rich ripe plum and blackcurrant flavours with a touch of mint.
These grapes are picked at optimum ripeness and blended to create an approachable soft and fruity wine.
Smooth and full bodied on the palate with spicy flavours of dark berried fruit, velvety tannins and a long lingering finish.
World Food Wine: Serve at room temperature and try partnering with spicy dishes such as
Mexican fajitas or Cajun chicken.
