Old Pulteney Haddart Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Inspired by the award-winning Old Pulteney 1989, this Highland single malt is matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-peated malt casks for a uniquely smoky take on 'The Maritime Malt'. This expression is named for the distillery's location in Huddart Street and Captain Joseph Huddart who provided maps and charts to the British Fisheries Society who were the builders of Pulteneytown and its harbour.The nose is rich and warming, with mellow wood smoke and oily leather, combining with honey and green apple atop vanilla and a touch of burnt toffee. The palate brings vanilla spice to the fore to balance the smoke and peat, with salted caramel and coastal sea salt leading into the rich finish.
