Two Paddocks Noir is grown entirely on there three small family vineyards in Central Otago. In some vintages, listening carefully, we realise that one of these sites may have something extraordinary to say in its own right. It is only then that they make one of these rare single-vineyard wines.
The Last Chance is a beautifully sited small terrace, planted solely in pinot noir vines. It is one of the world's most southerly vineyards and tasks its name from the watercourse that runs through its heart, had dug by gold miners in the 1860s, The Last Chance.
Ripe red fruit, violet, spice, and some blackcurrant brooding aromatics. This wine shows a beautifully soft and rich palate with a lovely elegant drive and persistence.
