This ruby-red Reserva is a smooth, full, elegant, balanced wine with a long finish.
It has a complex nose with ripe fruit aromas of cherries, black plums and juicy blackberries and the spicy nuances extracted from the oak during ageing with hints of clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut.
In 1959 Jose Ortiguela founded a small winery in Rioja. Its name came as a reminder of the land in el Villar de Arnado where he had spent his childhood: the "Campo Viejo" Jose's dream, which we share today, was to create quality Rioja that is perfect for enjoying with friends.
 Perfect with game stews or roast shoulder of lamb.
