The Bodegas Valduero winery crafted the Spanish red wine Valduero Reserva from over 50-year old, high-altitude Tinta Fina vines.
The vines are located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, at an altitude of 830 metres above sea level.
The soils are mainly clayey-limestone, punctuated by areas of sand. Climate is continental.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were fermented and macerated at a controlled temperature for 18 days.
Then the wine was aged for over a period of 30 months in French, American and Central European oak barrels.
