The wine is medium ruby in colour and offered sweet red fruit, strawberry, spices, and roasted notes on the nose and palate, with fresh, medium-level acidity, smooth, medium-level tannin, moderate heat from the alcohol and very good length. The coconutty oak was well-integrated.
