Tasting Notes
Aged on lees which gives the wine good texture, this Bordeaux white stands out from the crowd as it is aged in barrels that created 1er cru Sauternes the previous year. It is a rich and complex wine with touches of tangerine and grapefruit peel on the palate. The finish is long and reminiscent of red berries and currants. Awarded 93 points by James Suckling.
Great as an aperitif on its own or with smoked salmon and seafood dishes.
