Chateau Fieuzal Blend, France
Château de Fieuzal is a Grand Cru Classé de Graves produced in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Around 30 years old, the vineyard of 68 hectares is planted on rolling outcrops made of fine soils and covered with thousand-year-old gravel. The blend of the 2015 vintage is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
With its intense blood red colour and purple reflections, the Château de Fieuzal 2016 reveals complex aromas of red fruits and black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, black cherry). There are then expressive fragrances of spices and graphite. In the mouth, the attack is dense and offers tannins that combine finesse and elegance. This wine, which reveals a silky structure, presents a wonderful tension during a long finish.
