Worlds Premier Wines, Medal Winner Wine
As the King of all Gods, Amon-Ra is considered the most powerful figure in Egyptian mythology.
The temple of Amon-Ra is recorded as the birthplace of commercial winemaking, having the first-ever large scale vineyard grown specifically to make wine for the citizens of the temple.
For the 2001 and 2002 vintages, there were distinct McLaren Vale AND Barossa Valley bottlings, but from 2003 onward there has only been a Barossa Valley bottling.
A true wine experience and an extraordinary wine.

95+ Points Lisa Perrotti Brown for eRoberParker.com
Produced from 100% Shiraz the 2010 Amon - Ra displays deep purple-black colour and aromas of cedar, baking spices, lavender, chocolate, and vanilla over a core of creme de casis, black cherry pie, and dried plums.
Very full-bodied and densely packed with layered warm berry, earth and spice flavors, it has a solid backbone of medium to firm fine-grained tannins and crisp acid, finishing long with some hints of dried Provence herbs and black pepper coming through.
Consider drinking 2014 to 2024+.
