Wine Wednesday - Susana Balbo

Wine Wednesday - Susana Balbo

Wine Wednesday is being hit off with a fantastic Signature wine from the one and only Susana Balbo. This wine invites us to discover a new world. Every time we open a bottle, the atmosphere is flooded with a magical presence. Perhaps it is because of its special flavour or because the wine begins to tell stories of dedication, work and dreams made.

This wine is composed of similar parts of Semillón, Torrontés and Sauvignon Blanc from Altamira. It's very aromatic with floral and citric notes intermixed with hints of white fruit, coming through as a fresh, subtle blend. It matured for 4 months in French oak barrels, 60% first use and 40% second use.

Pale gold with bright reflections. On the nose, this wine seduces with hints of white pear, white flowers and ripe peach. On the palate, it has a beautiful structure and acidity along with enticing fruit flavours. Plenty of body for a wine that shows such delicate aromas and flavours. Fruity, floral and yet still quite dry.
