With only 14 days to go we decided to take a look at some of our top contenders both in terms of Olympic ability and wine…   Australia Team: Beach Volleyball - The Horse Guards Parade is bracing for a colourful display like it’s never seen before when the Aussie beach volleyball teams come marching in this July. Smashing the Olympic history books is Nat Cook who will become the first Australian woman to compete at five Olympic Games.   Wine: Yellow Tail Semillon Sauvignon Blanc £6.99   Chile Team: Tennis  - Tennis star Fernando González has three Olympic medals, one of them gold. His doubles partner Nicolas Massu has two gold medals - looks like this is the event they will be served a Gold!   Wine: Santa Gloria Chardonnay £7.49   Italy Team: Fencing - Giovanna Trillini is a four-time Olympic champion and boasts three individual golds and one team gold, as well as three bronze medals and a silver. Italy will be at the sharp end of things this summer but they hope to stab a victory.   Wine: Villa Jolanda Chianti £8.69     New Zealand Team: Eventing - Nicholson and the double Olympic gold medal-winning Todd are joined by their bronze medal-winning 2010 World Championship team-mate Caroline Powell, along with Jonathan Paget who rode as an individual at the same World Championships. Jonelle Richards completes a strong-looking New Zealand team with Lucy Jackson named as the reserve. This team will jump to the occasion as they gallop across the finishing line.   Wine: Ned Pinot Noir £12.99   Spain The team: Football - the reigning European under 21 champions - will be gold medal contenders and with European Championship winners Juan Mata and Jordi Alba in their squad they will are one of the hot favourites for gold, they hope not just to score goals but medals as well.   Wine: Marques de Monistrol Reserva Rose Cava Brut £9.99
